Our resin and gel coat, both have a U.V. inhibitor in them which greatly extends the life of the structure. Both blinds are 100% fiberglass construction.
The floor is 3-ply consisting of a product that absorbs the resin and is sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass. This procedure makes the floor almost like steel, yet has an insulating factor. The floor pan is also reinforced with steel square tubing that is laminated into the floor structure.
The main hull slides down onto the floor pan and is then laminated together. The door is also fiberglass with a locking door knob. The large windows give excellent visibility. The windows are bronze plated, aluminum framed with bronze tinted glass. The tinted glass cuts down on silhouetting. Windows slide horizontally and silently on felt tracks. Windows are pop-riveted with aluminum rivets and the door is attached with stainless steel hinges, thus nothing to rust or corrode.

The unique design of the blind and the rib effect make it extremely strong, and will shed rain, snow, debris, and wind much better than a box type blind. These blinds have withstood baseball-size hail without damage to structure. The exterior of the blind has approximately 24 ml of gel coat and is smooth and slick. They're constructed basically in the same manner as a fiberglass boat hull. The wall thickness is approximately 3/16" plus. The interior of the blind is gel coated also with approximately 24 ml. It has three fiberglass fold-down shelves under the windows. The shelves and floor are covered in all blinds with a high quality, tight-knit indoor/outdoor carpet. All towers are fully welded construction. The only assembly after delivery is to bolt the ladder, which requires two bolts. All towers are constructed with new square tubing and 1-1/2" angle iron. The top frame is made of 2" x 3" angle iron which the blind is bolted to.

I have hunted over the years out of every kind of blind imaginable, from angle iron and car siding, plywood, plastic, and even metal. When I decided to make this fiberglass deer blind, I designed a blind that I was sure every hunter, including myself, would be very happy with. The shape and design came somewhat from our residential greenhouse units. The blinds are very easy to heat and on sunny days need very little or no heat. You don't have to fight wasps or yellow jackets each fall. Basically, these blinds are very comfortable and work well.
